Default Problem with lightbulb...

I have a z28, and I am having problems with my front bumper driver's side running light. It keeps going out. It used to be like every 2-3 months. Now I have replaced it 3 times in one week! I give up! What would be the problem? Electrical? When I take the bad bulb out it is black and sometimes broken(hole in it)? When I replace it, it works for about 2 days then goes out. The passenger-side is fine, NEVER had to replace it. But this one goes out ALL the time...?? Any Ideas???

Thanks,
David

My drivers side turn signal goes out every couple 'a months. I don't think those housings stay very waterproof after a while. In fact, I know mine doesn't.
A cat ran into my car the other day and hit it so hard (I was creeping behind and elderly gentelman) it cracked the paint and popped the turn signal bulb completely out of the socket, down into the housing where I couldn't retrieve it.
Just something about that freakin' left side.......

You need to replace the socket. They are about $30 from your dealer. There is a service bulletin on it from GM. Tom

Thanks for the heads up. I guess if mine gets any worse I'll replace it.
