Default Any gm dealerships offering us any parts deals?

I just had a friend hit a deer with his 2000 1500 pickup. the grille and dr side lights need to be replaced. The local dealer is trying to bend him over on the price of the parts, not to mention the labor to install them. I am looking for a source of GM parts that we can get them from. There use to be a guy named Dal that did an internet business from a dealership, but I lost the contact info.
Please Help

Got a buddy at a Chevy dealership that can help you out. You can contact him via e mail or by phone. Phone numbers are 800-244-3782 and local Illinois number is 847-729-0820, ask for Jim Norman. If you want to mail him let me know and I will give you the address. The dealer he works for is not a sponsor so I dont think I can post the e mail address. Just be sure to tell him you got his info from this site. Jim is a great guy and will try to help you in any way he can on any GM parts.

well my dealership is ridiculously expencive, $95 for a new speaker and $10 for power steering fluid. Needless to say after my accident in the lot I doubt I will ever be going to the St. Charles dealership again.

I don't have enough space to list everything I've bought for various cars, but just recently I got a 90%condition passenger door from a 1500 chevy truck, 2 subaru outback factory fog lights( wife hit a possum or something), you name it ebay has it.

GM parts direct is about as cheap as you can get. I have a friend that gets me 10% over cost and the prices end up right where GM parts direct is.

Except their shipping charges are too high to offset the cheap prices.

GM parts direct will charge you 2 bucks for a part and then 17 bucks for shipping

Dal @ VanDevere Pontiac-Olds (?) likes to do business via email. His email address is lockitup@bright.net. His prices are better than gmpartsdirect, and he has reasonable shipping prices. He doesn't return email immediately, but usually within 24 hours. Worth the wait for the pricing and service.
