Fan Problem

Fan Problem I just finished, well for the most part my M6 to A4 swap. Only problem afterwords is that the fans dont turn on
Where all do i need to check? The computer is brand new too, so i know its not that. There's voltage going thru the relays and fuses. There's nothing at the plug-ins for the fan. If i jump the plug in into the front driverside head, would that trigger the fans? And would the car have to be running for them to turn on, or can i just leave the key on?
