Default Uh oh strange fuel injector cleaner

I went to Kragen today to get some fuel injector cleaner and the guy behind the counter told me to get this other stuff I remember it said "Tune up in a bottle" on it and some other crap but it was basically fuel injector cleaner.. Well I put it in with a full tank of gas Havent noticed much difference but my car seems kinda weak .. Anyone have experience with this stuff or know what it is ?

did you really expect to get a "tune up in a bottle"?

snakeoil...

most modern premium gas has enought deturgents addatives..ect ect ect , that you should never need injecter cleaner...

Nah I didnt expect a big improvement but now im concerned about the engine and ****...

Lucas ! thats what its called. I got the lucas fuel injector cleaner is this **** healthy at all...

I know whenever I used fuel injector cleaner the car idles kinda funny while the stuff is in the tank. Maybe it could account for a loss in power too.

I stick to STP cleaners-at least I know they will not hurt anything..I have used a small amount of LUCAS oil treatment after I saw a demonstration at a show----stuff bond's with regular oil like crazy---didn't use much though--

got a few boxes of STP from my friend, i use it every now and then just cuz, dont think it really does too much, but i've never had a problem using it

only time you want to have your injectors cleaned and what not is a "dripper" type of system that is ran directly through.
