Default dented floorboard

i started jacking up the car in the wrong spot in the rear, and dented my floorboard in a little bit. it's the part right behind the driver's seat; it's not bad at all, it just made it tilt upwards on one side a little. you can tell from inside the car. i'm thinking of stepping on it and forcing it down, but is there a better technique to fix it?

if its a small dent u will probably have to hit it some with a hammer. Maybe try a rubber malet or something first.

it's just about a quarter of the rear floorboard. pisses me off since i did the same thing on my old car; you'd have thought i would have learned this. i guess i got in a hurry. it's not going to damage the metal by being bent, is it?

It's already bent - bending it back isn't going to do more damage. You might want to jack up a 2x4 or something under it so when you whack it with the big hammer you don't push it too far. Just jack it up till it touches - don't pick up the car again.
