Scratching/Grinding Noise

Scratching/Grinding Noise When I'm driving along and hit a bump or something, I hear this noise that sounds like plastic scraping concrete from the drivers front tire direction. I know the car isn't bottoming out, it isnt that low, and the sound only comes from the front left. Could this be shocks or something making that noise or?
