If ure on a super tite budget, just get a set of mufflers...else id say Magnaflow is a DAMN good sounding exhaust...not as loud as others, but quality of the tone is there!

mangnaflow has a good sound but it is not too loud. If you can get a used slp loudmouth that would sound baddass, it would take awhile to get used to the noise though. Or if you don't mind rolling without tips, then take the whole exhaust out, while you save for the exhaust you really want. Or drill a hole on the muffler you have now, it should be loud.

yeah I was thinking magnaflow ...I had a 87 camaro and I had flowmaster on it. I just want something thats loud but nothing too crazy, and something that gives good performance.

At the same time I also got their y-pipe another 150 or so. When you add the loudmouth add teh slp lid, and you will get added performance. The lid with the loudmouth adds great thottle response.

Almost forgot to tell you to "not" use the u-clamps that come with the loudmouth. I had a muffler shop install the loudmouth and a month ago, I wanted to take off the u-clamps and my tips, to replace with a c-clamps at the tips. What happened was the tips will not come out the tail pipe, because the muffler shop tightened the hell out of the u-clamps. I fell If I had put c-clamps I would not have had this problem. Now Im stuck with these tips, which look good, but just wanted to try a differnt tip to change the rear.
I had my bolted up and had I known of this site before, I would have installed the loudmouth myself. All the info for the installation is here and it is an easy install for the loudmouth into the camaro. Im not sure if your year its a weld or bolt at the passenger side though. But try the install yourself before you take it to a muffler shop and use good c-clamps. If muffler shops install the loudmouth tell them not to dent the u-clamps so you may remove the tips if you wanted too.

Loudmouth is a great exhaust. I love mine and I wouldnt change it for anything else. I read on Fbody.com about a week or so ago, that the loudmouth was the most free flowing exhaust at 2200+ cfm, then magnaflow at like 1100cfm and borla was 3rd with 900cfm over the stock flow. It sounds great and I get lots of compliments on the sound of it. But it is up to you and your budget. Whatever you do, dont go with Flowmaster. Ive heard and read nothing but bad things about it. Good luck with your decision.
