Default How Long Does It Take To **** Off The ECU?

I have been driving my car with gutted cats and no O2 sims for 525 miles and still no SES light. Is there something wrong with my computer or does it take this long to detect that there is a problem? Not that I'm complaining but just wondering.....?

thats very odd they say they come about 1 or 2 weeks after you do that...mine came in 3 days..you have to ask someone who is into the comp and into tuning and all of that they will prob know but id think it should have shot you a code allready and gave the light

I thought it takes up to 2 weeks for the light to come on.

Mine came on within a day of installing my headers, removing cats, before getting it tuned out. It does take a little while, sometimes, for it to run all of it's tests but 560 miles? I assume there were plenty of full heat cycles in there?

Plenty of 40-60 mile trips, and one 200 mile trip.

The VHP tuner might allow gutted cats without setting a ses light.

My car threw a ses light within a few miles.
