I actually think the complete opposite. The LS series engines are a great machine. They hold up real great, and make a bunch of power for at least a hundred thousand miles and more!

As with every tech site, people tend to post their problems in hopes that someone can help them sort out and trouble shoot their problem. The people without problems don't post up because they're out driving their cars.... just a thought...... Plus, as stated above, most of us beat the crap out of our cars.......so if you play you're eventually gonna pay.

nobody ever calls the air conditioning man when the A/C is working
i get so pissed off at mine sometimes (like right now), but then i remember how great it is. over 10:1 compression, 350hp, low 13's from the factory w/ no power adder, and still able to pull that kind of a pass after the odometer rolls over 200k

i KNOW these things inside and out. One of the best pushrod motors EVER offered from the factory, and that is including ALL automakers. They have some of the best factory heads ever, last forever, make great power, and get extremely good gas mileage..
