Default Loudmouth 2

Just ordered my LM2 and Y-Pipe and I was wondering on what should I expect as for as the amount of time for labor, so I should know what kind of deal to try and get on the install

Do it yourself....much more rewarding........save yourself some money for other stuff too!

If you don't want to do it yourself, someone with a lift should be able to get it on in, at most, 45 minutes.

Took me about 30 minutes to get old exhaust off and about 20 minutes to get loudmouth on (spent like 10 minutes making sure the tips were lined up right). I would imagine an extra 15 minutes to do the Y-pipe, if your referring to the SLP Y which bolts up too the cats I believe.

It is a very easy and straight forward install.

If you have a 98 you better have something to weld with. The passenger side of the y-pipe is welded on. The 99's might be like this also.

Yeah I believe the 99s are too. I know my 2000 is bolted on.

i dont know about the y, but i just put a LM on my buddys TA last night in his driveway, just make sure you have a sawzall, pipes come out easyer when in smaller pieces, i got saw happy, i cut the stock system into 20 small pieces

I used a sawzaw also but mine was a bit tougher to cut. Damn blade would keep getting stuck on the pipe and broke the damn blade. Tough cutting it while being on the floor.

jack stands in the driveway, and i broke one blade and bent two others into Z shapes
