this guy at the track last night claims he only has suspension , headers , cat back and gears (4.10s) , friend of mine has a 98 trans am with built shortblock , Ross pistons , stage2 TEA heads , 605 lift cam , 4.10s , headers, suspension and all also and hes only running 8.08 at 84mph on 315 nitto drag radials 1.9 60ft, this guy ran 7.94 at 87mph last night on M&Hs with 1.6 60ft, both cars are 6 speed cars , and I can tell the guy in the Z was abusing his car alot more than my friend does his but I dont understand the numbers just dont seem right ???

somethings not adding up here , I think the camaro has atleast a cam in it ??? his check engine light is on ????claimed he had a bad o2 sensor ??? is he full of it or what ????

Suspension, headers, catback and gears is far from stock. Your title doesn't make sense. Your friend is slow for his mods, I can tell you that much. He's on pace for a mid 12.

Edit: You by NO MEANS need a cam to run what he did. I was running mere 12.6's and my 1/8 was 8.0.

Edit again: Is he tuned? I ran 8.0 in the 1/8 with ET streets, 3500 stall, lid, CAI, and exhaust in my 98.

7.94 @ 102mph and I'd be a little concerned.

Your buddy's car is running very slow for the mods. He only trapped 84 mph in the 1/8? I was trapping almost 90 in an A4 with cam, stock suspension, stock LS1 intake, stock pulley.

my friends clutch is going , could that affect his MPH and ET that much , I know his car should be running 7.70s or better , but I dont understand why its not , and by saying the other guys car was stock , was just meaning , no cam or heads etc ......oh and I forgot the mention the other guy ran and 8.04 before he put the headers on and his car is suposedly untuned
