howling noise between 25-60 MPH ok, heres probly the most bizzare thing youve ever heard, maybe not, who cares, anyways
when im just coasting at a constand speed, between 25-60, i hear a howling noise, but only when my foot is on the gas, if i take my foot off the gas it takes a second but the noise goes away completely, but this only happens at a constand speed with the gas pedal between 1 - 25% throttle, any more than that and the noise goes away but the car accellerates and then im speeding, the noise gets louder as i go faster, most noticable between 45-60 mph
just in case, mods are: 3.23s, !EGR, !AIR, LM, lid and bellows, 160* temp, throttle body bypass
willing to try all suggestions, so any help is appreceated

i was starting to think it is the ring and pinion, i just put in the 3.23s and they are used, i thought ring gear noise only happened when your off the gas tho, dam, hope it dont go out, if it does, im throwing in 3.73s

i have the same problem at the same speeds and i have asked my friends but they have no idea. if it is the ring and pinion witch one should i put it for a mod? it makes the ride uncomfertable when cruising on the highway and it is a very anoying loud sound. i really need help on this guys so please any suggestions would be great on how i can take that howling noise out, i freaking hate it. if anything e-mail me at Wolfpac723@aol.com or just write it here and i will read it. i really need this guys i really apreciate it thanx.

Yeah it sounds like the backlash is off on the R&P... I am still not sold on putting gears in the 10 bolt, IMHO it would be better in the long run to save for a 12 bolt...
If you do open it up look for the pattern of wear on the ring gear teeth...

mine does it too. cant really hear with the TD's...but its def there. mine started after i made a top speed run and got to like ~165. when i got back to speed, it was doing it. but hey, what can you do? when it blows, hello 9 inch
