my parking brake comes up almost all the way to the top...sometimes if i pull it up hard enough it will pop and be loose until i put it down and bring it back up...how can i fix it so it will actually work better...

yeah mine does that too sometimes. usually if you just reset it and do it again it works, on my car anyway. i think someone had asked about this in external a while ago, i'd look through page 15-20 or something. i'd say search but i am sure you already have. sorry i am no help here man.

It's a common problem. I had it on all the 4th gen f-cars I owned.

When it happen, I just reset it like Diolar Magnum said.
