how cheap can I get an LS1 f-body?

how much is an ls1 how much is an ls1 car? i know lt1's can be had for 4-5 grand all day long. but it seems froma 97 z28 to a 98 z28 theres a huge focking price gap. why is this? how cheap can i get an ls1 f body?

I got it with 75k miles on the clock but it was issued a not actual mileage title at one point in its life , dealer was originally asking 8500 till i brought up the NAM title. Only mods if you can even call it that is it had the muffler cut off just after the y pipe I bought the car in Aurora IL

Well, I just got my 98 Z for $4740. It has 83k on the clock but is in great shape. My Dad was the original owner, actually my Dad's company so that is how I got such a great deal. It doesn't hurt to know people I guess. Just keep looking...it is easy to get frustrated but stick with it. There are some good deals out there.

I got my 99 z28 automatic only a couple small scratches next to the fog light with only 30K miles for $10K. Only 1 owner and the carfax was totally clean. That was a no brainer to take it. Never modded completely stock i picked it up 2 months ago.

Well I really dont know if the airbags were deployed or not, the reason I think so is because the part of the dash where the airbags come out on the passenger side is kind of bubbly looking. Any way to tell for sure ? And I found the adjustment for the headlight when I was changing my headlight lamps so now they line up alot better
