Lid, headers, exhaust, quality lowering springs/shocks, PHB, and LCA relocation brackets are pretty much the basic upgrades everybody does to get things rolling

I have headers just have to install them. How hard is that. Or should I let my exhaust shop handle that

Lots of good info on bolt ons/free mods out there. Be choosy and the stuff some claim don't do because it does nothing.........do

Its not really that hard to get these cars to the 11s with bolt ons.

Stall,stall,stall-Yank SS3600 or CircleD equivalent.
Gears-what do you have,2.73s'(GU2) or 3.23s'(GU5) ?
2.73s'-supplemental tranny fluid cooler with a stall, stall will feel 'loose' because of 2.73s' but can be gotten used to.
3.23s'-same as above but stall won't feel as 'loose'.
Changing rear gears to 3.73s' seems to be the popular consensus.

LCA relocation brackets and decent shocks.

I have a lid and true dual exhaust. I have headers just have to install them. My rear end has the 273s. I'll be upgrading soon maybe to 3.42 for now.

If you are upgrading your gears you might as well go 3.73's

My guess is he is not changing gears in his 10 bolt but swapping to a 6 speed 3.42 10 bolt
