Default Free Mods

I am sure this thread has been made before many times...

I am wonderng what these free mods are??

Ok so far This is all I have done to my car.

I disconnected the skip shift selenoid

I need to buy a fuse or some sort of plug for it?

Also I took out the "aluminum filter plate thing" in the Mass Airfow sensor or whatever that thing is before the Throttle body.

Is this bad in any way and will I gain any sort of performance from it?

Thanks

Skip shift mod:

>>>!CAGS: $0.50 Radio Shack resistor<<<

"aluminum filter plate thing" :

It's fine to pop the MAF screen out, as long as you didn't hurt the sensors inside it.

Search is your friend.

Look at these sites:

>>>Install University<<<

>>>LS1 How To.com<<<

>>>LS1 FAQ<<<

Peace,
Craig.

The screen doesn't "hurt" the MAF sensors, it's the process of you knocking the screen out and hitting the MAF sensors. Thats what matters, if you hit it or not. As long as you don't have an SES light on you're fine.

Look into the free ram air mod. What year is your car? If 98-00 look up the EGR free mod also.

Peace,
Craig.
