Default Need Help Deciding

I want to put a 9" rear end in my car with 4.11 gears and street racing tires on the back or do headers, ls6 intake and a cam. I'm kinda leaning towards the rear end and making my car more reliable. I might wait on the tires too if I do that until I can do a new clutch, depending on how much I get for my stock rear end that doesn't make any noise as of right now. I'm also guessing my car would run like 12.6-7 wih sticky street tires and the rear end. Thanks for any input.

Well if your looking for reliability then I'm assuming its a daily driver? Assuming thats true you want to put 411 gears in a daily driver? Say goodbye to your gas mileage... just something to consider...

He's got an M6, it'll barely do anything to his mileage.

Man, if you're not going to be making even 600 rwhp, then from what I've read on here, you will be safe with a 12-bolt. Though much stronger, 9"s lose about 20-30 rwhp, I've read on here. I've read 12-bolts are strong enough to take repeated passes with 700 rwhp.

Well, living in the city, and having a lead foot, I've never even said "Hello" to good gas mileage.

As for 12 bolt vs 9", seems like a lot of posts I've seen is 12 bolt for A4 and 9" for M6.

I have just read a lot of bad 12 bolt stories. I want a 9" moser housing with a strange center.
