New Guy needs help getting HP
Hopefully someone can help. I have a stock 2000 Z and I would like to add some more HP, but dont know much about the LS1 since I just got the car. Getting the work done is not a problem. I would just like to know where to start. If you could give rough estimate on prices for mods and even part #s would help as well . Any and all help would be appreciated.

you could also start off with a lid, easy can do it in your garage at home, most of the vendors carry them>>>>>>
When you find an exhaust you like, do the whole thing (headers, ory/catted y, the catback).
You could even send your tb out to get it ported or do it yourself if your that kind of person

Also, if you have an A4 (automatic), I'd recommend a torque convertor down the road too. Hope this helps.

I have a 2000 T/A LS1, and here's what I did, plus what's going in next...

Basically, it's all about getting air into and then out of the engine. If you lay the proper ground work you'll see the biggest gains when you do major mods later, plus you'll pick a ton of HP now with teh right bolt-ons.
