not quiete a ls1 owner yet but need advicee!!!
currently i have a 94 camaro 3.4l....before anyone says it yes i know i'm missing two cylinders...lol....i just put a refundable down payment on a 98 SS M6......the guy is asking 13,000 and it has 67k miles on it....he said that he put in 12k into the car but its mainly just looks....as far as peformance mods he has a granatelli MAF, intake, exhaust, hpp, short shifter, and an upgraded transmission (not the original t56 i believe)....other than that the engine is stock and was stock (i hope)....the cars been sitting for 5 months from what he told me...i mean he was pretty honest but i don't know. he told me that the battery or the alternator may need to be replaced...and he showed me a slight chip in the front....am i getting a good deal??.....and is this person a member of this site??? here's a link to the car....any information and input is appreciated http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ang=&cardist=2

if everything that hes says about it is true and if all it needs is a battery, which i can see happenig from sitting around for five months, theres prolli nothing wrong with the alternator youll more then likely have to replace the battery. id tell him to get a new battery for it so u can drive and see how well it runs. but otherwise it definatly looks like its worth it. especially with the mods.

Yea the car looks like its owned by someone who didnt mind spending money on his car. That is a very good price. Just make sure to check everything out. I would have drove up from NJ to NY to get that car instead of my 01 SS. Id take the ground effects off personally though Good Luck!!
