Default 2000 Z28 Trade For 2002 NHRA Trans Am

The stealership wants 21,495 for a 02 black NHRA Trans Am with 37,000 miles, leather, 6 speed, tcs, pretty much stock except for the flowmaster muffler and and k&n filter. Car drove awesome and is nice all the way around. They will only give me about 8500 for my 00 Z28 with 73000 miles. My car is is pretty good shape for the miles. What do you guys think i should do???

Keep your car. Why would you trade for that? The only thing that T/A has is a badge that says NHRA. Wooppppteee dooooo

geez.....you don't want to let the dealer take complete advance of this persons sense of what he needs to feel whole?Buy the car its good for the dealer.Plus someone else will get overcharged for your car so the dealer gets double stuff in his cookie!Plus think about two years from now how that nhra will have 73,000 miles on it and be worth at least 8500..........

Take the $13k you would owe on the loan for the NHRA, and drop a 9 inch and 408 in your Z28 with all the supporting mods to go with

Here's an idea...

Spend a few thousand and have your motor rebuilt. You're '00 Z28
will have ZERO miles on the motor and you'll save $10K.

Don't get ripped off.

How about take that 12k-13k or so that you would pay on top of your car's trade in and buy a Trans Am for around 12k? It's always been a dream of mine to own 2 LS1 f-bodies (Z28 & TA) and if I had the money, I would. One would be an A4 and the other an M6 and build them up and see which one I could make faster.

just my 2cents....you also gotta look at it as a good find, not to many nhra editions around, could be worth something good in a few years to a collector.

dont make it complicated....youre paying 12k plus your car for your car....with a badge....not a good deal. theres nothing about that car except it says NHRA, thats it. if you want it, do it, im not gonna try to talk you out of it, but there is my opinion that you asked for.
