Default 2001 trans am a4 81000 miles

i was wondering what it's worth? it has black leather interior, cd changer, t-tops, tcs, power everything. it's a one owner and owned by a older ladie with kids. never abused or raced. it has no dents or big scratches. runs awesome, everything works, good oil pressure.

well depending on how desirable they are in your area.. Also, is yours the NHRA edition, Daytona 500, WS6 or just regular Trans AM. Retail for your car still looks like 13500, because it is a T/A. trade in would be right around 9,000 or 10 grand, depending on where you take it

I doubt you'd get more than 9k for it. But it all depends on your area and what options it has. The fact that its totally stock is good but anyone who is looking for a completely stock more than likely will think your car has about twice as many miles as they are looking for.

Well It isnt worth $13,500 I can tell you that much. Thats what I payed for my fully optioned 99 T/A w/31,000 miles from a dealership back in March of 05. Why not just call and ask what they are asking for it.

i know what there asking for it. i just wanted to get an idea of what it's really worth. i know prices will vary from place to place. there asking 14,900 which i told them they were crazy, the guy said there very negotiable on it and next time i come back in he will give me his lowest price he can take for it, they want it gone. there cars not really what i want color wise or tranny wise, but if i can get it for a good rpice i would do it. anyway thanks for the help guys.

02's with the same mileage leave lots for 20-22k easy. You're pretty lucky to find a 99 with 31k. Original motor?

Honestly in my area, an 01 Ws6 with 80k would still go for the 14,900, so i dont the that as completely crazy. Almost EVERYBODY likes the look of SS's and WS6's and unfortunately people can damn near ask their price....face it these cars are gettin rare, and they not makin T/A's anytime soon if ever. Kinda like finding a "clean" stock 87-93 Fox GT, I still see them in good shape go for 5K-7K and we are talkin 91, 92, and 93 model cars. Any body seen the price on an clean 87 Grand National. For the record, i seen a red 02 WS6 with an A4 and like 30K miles go for 22,500 just last week so go figure.

Yeah I was lucky, but I was looking for a few months to find the right one. It was 3-1/2 hours away up in CT in the winter time so that had something to do with the price. And yeah it has the stock motor, now at 35,500 miles.

14 would be reasonable for it...id say pay 14...but if you can get em down to 13,5...by all means do it.

good price bad price? You said its not the color or trans. you were hoping for so wait for what you want and then negotiate. Have you autotraders down there? Bet you can find what you want for what the dealer would stick you for anyway.
