looking to buy a throttle body of a 2001 camaro poted will this fit my 99 ss im looking to also put a ls6 intake on to will this make it work

yes i know that 2oo1 f bod,s have ls6 intakes but will it fit my stock 99

It should fit right on, but if I remember right you might have to swap out the throttle shafts because the linkage is slightly different. I believe that the earlier tbs have a different cam on the linkage so the tb can be opened quicker?
