Default Need help!! on purchase 99 T/A

I am looking to purchase a 1999 trans am M6. IT currently has 83,000 miles. The guy told me that he rebuilt the top( i.e. redid the heads, springs, ect..) He is asking 9500, is it worth it? How long will the engine last, it was not driven hard, but then again no car is"driven": hard. I was looking to put nitrous, is it safe to do on 83,000 miles? or would it be more wise to do a cam and bolt-ons.

Your help IS! appreciated!!

Blake

p.s. any flaws on the 99 T/a's?

i have 136k now it still runs great though no problems since i've had it. me personally i wouldn't run nitros b/c i couldn't take the risk of something happening, but that doesn't mean it would necessarily "hurt" it. you would just have to have it hooked up correctly.

My biggest question would be why did he rebuild the top end? Was it due to an upgrade, or did something break, and if it was something breaking, what other damage did it do.
FWIW I'd use some caution on this one, and get some more info
