Default cant find the car im looking for

so im looking for places to look... yeah most dont want to travel, but for the RIGHT car i will... its about come to that

what im looking for primarily

01 or 02 ss SOM in color
has to be a 6speed
preferrably zr1 rims but i wont turn down a nice SOM car with 10 spokes

I have searched alot of internet engines, but im sure some of you guys see them pop up locally, and i really want a SOM car A MINT z28 SOM 6spd i would entertain.

I wouldnt rule out a really mint BLACK SS with zr1s if the price is right, but i hope everyone in the ls1 world might be able to help me find a SS

They're rare but I'm sure if you keep an eye out you will find one. The only thing is that fbody's didn't come stock with ZR1's, so you may hafta buy aftermarket ZR1's.

www.autotrader.com or www.cars.com

SOM is a rare color and for that you will pay for it I guarantee you. If you don't look so hard something might come up, just a suggestion.

I thought they came as an option with the SS? Mine came with ZR1s when I bought it used, and before I bought it, it was a lease. I doubt that the guy who was leasing it would have left ZR1s on it when he returned it. Although the dealership I bought it from might have put them on.

Yes, SLP did offer a $1000 option to select the ZR1-style wheels.

Copy of a page from the old SLP's website: http://members.tripod.com/~Camaro33/..._camaro_ss.htm
"Camaro SS is available with optional SLP 17"x 9" chrome-plated,
five-spoke, ZR1 style, aluminum wheels or 17"x 9" chrome-plated
version of the standard SS 10-spoke style wheels."

http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...41&BIG=80041-1

that's what was on my car stock. they did not come with the 11" wide rear i think that is what you are referring to. styled the same, but the true zr1's are wider. the stock ss zr1 style rims are 9.5" wide i do believe. that guy that posted probably just wants the zr1 style correct me if i am wrong.

It took me almost a year to find my daughter a nice, original, Z28 that was privately owned. We got so fed up we almost bought a 2001 Mitsubishi eclipse, LOL. Two weeks before she got her liscence, I finally found a Mint 99 Z28, 45000 miles, women owned, $8700.

I'm pretty sure that 98 and 99 SS,s came with ZR1 wheels. It became an option on the newer ones.

I buy and sell motorcycles as a hobby, so I know the good sites for looking.
Try Craigslist, its all over the United States, you can search your area and other areas close to you.
