Default Spend my money!!

Well, pretty soon I am picking up an LS1 F-Body that will have to be an automatic.

I have a pretty limited budget (school, friends, etc) but I want to be able to at least obtain 12's on street tires WITHOUT greatly effecting drivability.

This is my plan so far, but please incinuate on it!

- SLP Flow-Pack
- Transgo ShiftKit
- Pacesetter LT's / ORY
- QTP Electric cutout w/ stock cat-back (sleeper style!)
- LS6 intake (if not an 01-02 already)
- SLP MAF
- Sticky Tires
- Ported Throttle Body
- 160* Thermostat

Any other ideas or will that be enough!?

Leave off anything that begins with the letters S L P. That's my opinion. Get a lid, headers, do the free mods, and put a cutout on it and you should be all over the 12's. I was able to run 12's on street tires with a lid, cutout, and underdrive pulley. Just my $.02

The SLP lid is fine. It's most of the other products they sell that can be had much cheaper.

Forget the flow pack, and the maf, the rest looks ok, except for the stat, unless you can turn the fans on earlier, the stat is a waste
Remember a lid is a lid is a lid, an SLP is no better (or worse) than a whisper, get what fits your budget, and looks good to you

So a lid, cutout, headers, ory, !tb, and shift kit should get me into the 12's on street tires?

Forgot something, a torque converter (also called a stall) and a trans cooler to go along with the stall

ls1's are 12 sec capable right off the showroom floor with the right driver. Get a Tune & Headers. If you don't already have the car, do yourself a huge favor and get an 01/02 car, they are better performers to start with.
