It depends what your factory tires speed rating was. If they were z rated tires, I think the speed limiter is 149, the non z rated tires was 120 something or less. I'm just guessing on the numbers, but I know there is two different ones and it was based on the factory tire speed rating.

I know its not 115 cause Ive gone 120. My car came with Z rated tires so I think its around 160 like said That sucks if youre Z28 shuts down at 115. An by the way I know the car wont shut down literally, it just stops accelerating. Im not that much of a nube.

If it shuts down at 115mph it's because it wasn't ordered witht he "Z" rated tires from the factory. Crappy huh?
You can buy a Predator, Crane, Hypertech programmer that will raise or delete the speed limiter.
If you had the Z tires it shuts down at 162 mph. Scary having your car surge forward at those speeds when the limiter hits.
I removed my limiter long ago. Don't need it though, haven't driven over 120mph in a while.
