Default Need Your Opinions Please!

Im seriously thinking of making an offer on this car, what do you guys think? Does the price seem a little high considering the mileage?

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...g=en&cardist=7

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

What's the mods on it? Remember mods decrease the value not add to it, 16-17k sounds like a good offer

I got mine killer cheap and i knew it. That seems a little high still. I got a 99 T/A in spring of 05 it had 45,000 miles on it WS9 3.23 gears fully loaded, leather, auto, LS1, monsoon cd, etc and i only paid $7850 from a mid 40's couple. I would keep looking.

Now that's a helluva good deal, if it's in good shape and never in an accident. But yeah thats seems a little high, I got mine a year ago, 99 T/A fully loaded w/31,000 miles in mint cond and I payed $14,000.

Did you guys find that you had to talk down these deals quite a bit? Everybody seems to be selling these cars at a very high price but I know for a fact that nobody is buying. Its hard to buy a car for 25k when the blue book value is only 16k

I paid $17k for my 99 SS vert in Nov 2004...had 10k miles on it. His price is WAY TOO HIGH!! Offer him $15k and let him talk you back up to $16,500. He'll come down when he realizes no one is emailing him about his ad.

I sold a 95 3000GT N/A on autotrader last summer. It had over 100k miles on it...nothing fancy really and I had beat the **** out it with N20, etc. Started at $8.5k, some kid talked me down to $6k and I got rid of it. I overpriced it to begin with so I would get some crazy low offers and talk them back up. Try it out...the car looks really nice!

Just paid $19K+ for a 2002 SOM SS with less than 28K miles. Near perfect shape AND from a dealer. I might have paid a bit more than I should have but you make your own misery. That one you are looking at sounds a couple thou' too much. Good luck
