Check the build codes on the inside door panel and look for the "WS6" code... It's prob a ws6... carfax doesn't distinguish option packages such as the WS6 package.

I thought the 1LE's were light, stripper cars, with a suspension package. Maybe I'm wrong...

well WS6's arent just suspension. they are the hood and wheels as well. The ram air hood with 17" wheels and suspension. For the camaro it would be the SS with the ss ram air hood, 17" wheels and suspension. The 1LE would be to a stripper formula i guess but that lacks suspension.

Lets do word association...
WS6 is to SS as
TA is to Z28 as
firebird is to camaro

You do have the ram air hood correct? What about a WS6 badge in the rear? However, if your RPO code states it, im sure you do

1LEs are a suspension package for Camaros. In the later 4th gens they arent true "1LE" cars, they are SLP modifed. started in the 3rd gen cars with better suspension, no ttops, bigger tank, bigger brakes etc. in LS1 4th gen cars it was just basicly suspension (sway bar and stiffer springs and thats all i belive) and no ttops.

WS6 is just a RPO code for a suspension package just like Z28 is a special marketing performance package

My t/a comes up as a formula too, nothing to worry about. I still have the original dealership sticker and i think it said it was a formula/ta too. The ws6 package really is nothing more than the suspension, rims, and ram air < which will give you a few extra kicks of the hooves so it's more desirable

I think a better comparison would be Firehawk is to SS. Purely because they were both modified by SLP, with ASE doing the WS6.
