do i really got a ws6? when i went to car fax and put in the vin it said it was a firerbird formula/transam but didnt say any thing about a ws6. so is it a ws6 or just the transam?

Check the build codes on the inside door panel and look for the "WS6" code... It's prob a ws6... carfax doesn't distinguish option packages such as the WS6 package.

well WS6's arent just suspension. they are the hood and wheels as well. The ram air hood with 17" wheels and suspension. For the camaro it would be the SS with the ss ram air hood, 17" wheels and suspension. The 1LE would be to a stripper formula i guess but that lacks suspension.

TA is to Z28 as

You do have the ram air hood correct? What about a WS6 badge in the rear? However, if your RPO code states it, im sure you do

WS6 is just a RPO code for a suspension package just like Z28 is a special marketing performance package

My t/a comes up as a formula too, nothing to worry about. I still have the original dealership sticker and i think it said it was a formula/ta too. The ws6 package really is nothing more than the suspension, rims, and ram air < which will give you a few extra kicks of the hooves so it's more desirable
