Default Help me choose the next mod!

ok, I got a little extra cash and I want to do a mod.
I'm going to let the good people of ls1tech help me decide on which mod to do as I don't have enough cash to do both.

There are two choices, and as a betting man, I believe I already know the majority outcome; however, I am going to keep an open mind and wait for the results.

NOTE:Car has a stock engine/internals and has stock headers and exhaust.

Option A. 224/224 112 with like a .563 lift cam, yella tera rocker arms, and double comp cam valve springs with pushrods.

Or
Option B. Install QTP stainless steel headers (Or the Jet Hot Coated 16 gauge steel with the 1300 degree coating)with emissions, along with the QTP catted Y pipe (or the Jet Hot catted Y) and the Corsa cat back with pro polished tips.

I realize both these set ups will require tuning, such as wide ban dyno tuning or the predator hand held with custom tuning, but the cost of this service for either option A or B above should be the same.

Chime in!

Thanks all!

Wouldn't you do a Cam/headers/Y pipe all at once?

I say do all that and hold off on the heads, unless you got the cash.

it's no good to do cam before the exhaust. the car won't be able to breathe. definitely full exhaust first.

The cart doesn't go before the horse. Do your bolt-ons first.

Do the major bolt ons first. You may also be able to get some less expensive headers/exhaust and put that money towards other future mods. You may also want to consider a slightly more aggressive cam when you get to that point too.

Definitely exhaust first and then some form of intake as well. Doing the cam before those things is like making you sprint a mile with only allowing yourself to breathe through a coffee stirrer.

I think you have the answer to the question you shouldn't have needed to ask in the first place.

a cam is useless if it cant breathe. the only cam you could get that you would have to keep your stock manifolds is the Cheatr cam. if you want any other cam than that, exhaust first.

You can skimp and go with Pacesetters, ORY, and say hooker catback...Cost half the price or more than your intentions...

But since i have QTP headers, i say get them...Just get a cheaper catback, and buy a lid and whatnot with the money you saved...

You won't really need a tune after that either...
