Default Cruise control question

OK...thinking about buying a 2000 Z28 from an older gentleman here in town. 28k and a M6 and the price is very reasonable. Only problem is I don't think it has cruise. I haven't gotten to look at the car and the owner said it doesn't have it. What would be involved in hooking up cruise control? Trying to figure out if it's worth the trouble or if I should keep looking around. On a related subject...it also has manual windows. Not a huge problem, but what would be involved in changing to power? Thanks for the help

I'd keep looking and find a car with the options you want. If it doesn't have cruise or power windows it probably didn't come with the "preferred equipment group" so it won't have alot of other options too.

It depends how much long trips you take in the car, I do alot of highway so I would never buy a car without cruise control but if you do mostly city you really dont need it

thanks guys...I live in the city so it shouldn't be a problem, I just don't want to kick myself in the *** in a year when I don't have cruise and wish I would have. I'll probably just wait unless he goes ridiculously cheap

Well considering it's an M6...pretty sure not having cruise is the least of my worries if I drove while under the influence.

Adding cruise control is not a big issue. There are a few good aftermarket kits out there in the $100 range that can be installed in a couple hours. I wouldn't not buy a car because it didn't have cruise, I'd add it later.......

Summit Racing sells a very good kit for $89........

Thanks...that's a good start. However...what would be required to set up cruise using OEM or something that works the same? I would like to use factory parts if possible on the cruise. Other parts....not so much
