Default what do you think about my 1/4 time

hey i have a 98 ss with a 6 speed, textraila, nx 150 shot, lid, lca's,sfc, and an exhuast cutout... i am not happy with the time i ran at the track i only made one pass because it was really packed but tell me what you think about this time, traction sucked but i was thinking i would be in the high 12's.

.2451 reaction
2.40 60 ft
13.37 1/4
115.00 mph

with your mods and working on your 60' you can expect to be in the lower 12's.

for the guys that know more, with some sticky tires and a good lauch is 115 trap 11's material?

This is constructive critisism, take no offense to the following......

The 60ft is horrible, you should be 60fting 2.0s no prob, or at LEAST 2.1s. I run 12.5s all motor with exhaust, lid, and my own ported TB. Before the tune I ran 11.8s with 438/504 with a dry shot, the car now sets at 457/578 and I know it's gonna be DEEP in the 11s next time out. I am shooting for some 12.40s or better on motor as well.

Just keep practicing man, it's ALL about the driver with the m6. Do you have any dyno numbers so I can see the possible potential of the car compared to mine?

Check out my sig for my details, and good luck next time out!

yeah I agree my 60 ft is very weak and I think that hurt me a lot on that run a 2.37 is pretty bad. I think I need to invest in some nitto's, and more practice always helps.

6 speeds take alot of time man. My buddy has had one over a year and he recently just learned how to get it down the track. Thats why I got an automatic.

Put some dr's and you'll see high 11's, or atleast you should.

did you spray on this pass? if so you definatly need to just do so n/a runs and work on that launch and get that 60ft down...i made like 15 passes at the track and my 60 ft dropped from 2.2 to 1.9 on street tires, pratice makes perfect

again, this is constructive critisism, please dont take offense.

if you could get off the line at around 1.9 or 2.0

your car has potential to hit 11's with your setup. but without some meats on the back its not going anywhere.

your 2.40 60ft and 115mph trap speed show that you have potential with even a 2.0 60ft to hit mid-low 12's

just keep

go with some slicks or DR's and you'll be in like flint. if that doesent help you then you need some more practice.

good luck!

yea with just a 150 shot and good traction (tires) you can hit high 11s.
