Default timing?

seeing as our cars have no distributors how can we adjust the timing?, aside from useing the hptuner?

Spark timing has to be done through the computer

Correct, the only way to change the stock timing curve is to modify it with a tuning software such as HP Tuners or EFI Live.

Its really worth having the software, Ive had a full dyno tune and still own the hp tuners for making small changes ! I went to the track last night and picked up 4 mph just from upping my shift points.

ok this might sound like a noob ? but ive only had my car a year so im learning about these ls1s, but wouldnt putting a higher shift point on a auto car wear the tranny more? like by putting to many rpms on it
