Default Proud Owner at an Insanely Good price

Howdy yall! Just thought I would share the good news...Im now a proud owner of a 2002 Red Z28 with T-tops and M6 and Tan Leather. I did not want red at all but could not argue with the price...75k miles and bought it for 10 grand! The only problem is that the bumper was backed into and needs to be redone which is about 500 to 1000 dollars and the speakers are all blown to **** and they middle speakers are not working at all. This is a good, strong running car that has zero mechanical problems and the guy was one owner...I was the first to look at it and about 4 people called while i was there purchasing it and running over the car.

Do you think it was a good deal or should I have kept looking? Whats the best thing to do with the speakers?

Congrats on your car.. But depending on where you live, I wouldn't say you got an "Insanely" good deal... Especially since the car is damaged...

CONGRATS!

The price is pretty good, the bumper should cost no more then $500 to fix unless it is really torn up ripped or holes punched in it so that it has to be replaced.
As far as the speakers go, check out the >>>Stereo & Electronics<<<
Do a search on speakers, there is now a few speakers out there that are 2ohm like our stock ones. They may cost a little, but it beats having to keep replacing the stock ones over and over.

Peace,
Craig.

They're like toilet paper, they go fast. Depends on how loud you turn it up. On my Camaro I have to because of the exhaust, so they don't last long at all. Seems like I am always replacing one or the other, I'd say one will last 1/2 year on my Camaro, and I hardly drive it but on weekends.

Peace,
Craig.

Not to be a kill joy, but the damage in this photo of my 5.0 cost about 1500 to do with family members proviting the labor and frame straightening. Hit at 5-10 mph getting gas by an F250's horse trailer.
Here is a before/after:

Good price for a 2002. It does have high mileage (for a 02) and a few problems, but I think you came out good overall.
