Question 98 LS1 = trap speed of 103mph. What's wrong here?

Car has 2800 stall, LTs, no cats, cat-back & lid.

This trap speed is certainly low. What's up? Not my car FYI. One I'm looking at buying for a decent price.

Yea, I think you should read my post. It's not my car. Street tires. I believe the only suspension mod is LCAs.

Hell you can trap 103mph on a mildly modded LS1. Nothing wrong with that really. Depends on the track, day, launch, car, driver, beer.

I see no problem, auto's are going to trap lower than manual's as well. Also, I could trap 75 in my cammed car if I spun the entire way. There is way more to times and stuff than just a trap speed or 60' or an et. Or even peak horsepower/torque for that matter.

With those mods this car should be trapping at a much better speed is the point.

It might not be due to driving track etc.

Car also might be a dud but i'd guess poor track or driver first.

You've already made up your mind that the car is slow for its mods. So what are you asking? Why is it slow? Who the **** knows? From your description there's a thousand reasons why that car might trap 103.

People have given you input, but you don't seem to like anyones answers. Are you looking for someone to say "yeah, that car is a dog, don't buy that POS." ...in that case,

Sound like that car is a dog, keep looking.

Lots of things could be wrong, like gas pedal not going all the way down, 9million feet elevation, planets out of alignment, or gay posting without enough info.
