Put slicks on the car, or no?
I just posted a thread a few days ago saying that i was going up to Rt. 66 this weekend to run my car for the first time and I might have access to a set of slicks to put on the back. I was wondering if i should put them on there or not... I REALLY dont want to break the rear end. It's an auto so it's not as bad as a M6, but still, it worries me. I do know that it will help with my times though. What do you guys think? And how much will it help on my ET? Thanks!

M6's are especially hard on rears because its like pounding the rear every time you bang gears. i broke mine at the track on street tires, lol. but autos are soo much better on rears.
Thats gonna be fun driving down the road on slicks, lol.
