Question How many miles is too many??

Hello, Im new and was wondering if I could get some opinions on mileage. I looked around through the FAQ and didnt see anything reguarding this so ill post it.

Im working with a limited budget (7grand or so) and I was looking for 4th gen camaro's and 5th gen T/A's and camaros. My question is how many miles is too many?? I can get a 98-99 with over 115k miles on it and looks in great shape, but it seems high for the year and I dont want to worry about expensive fix's too early down the road from me getting it.

Is 120k for a 98-00 alot?? If so what problems will I run into the earliest??

Thanks for the help.

No 5ht gen cars. 3rd and 4th gens? At anyrate drive it. Mileage does matter but if was well taken care of, it really shouldn't.

OH assumed 98-02's were considered 5th gens. My fault.

SO mileage doesnt matter aslong as it was taken care of properly??

Some people will tell you it does and it does if it was hammered on. I bought my 94 Z28 with 121,000 miles on it for 4900 bucks. Did some normal maintenance stuff(opti spark, plugs, wires, water pump). It runs perfect now. Deals are out there, I am not saying jump on something with high miles, look around. DRIVE IT!
Some stuff with lower miles dosen't always run as good as stuff with more miles.
