Finally!!!! I Got One! i have been waiting a long time to get an ls1, and i finally found one, and bought it. its a 2002 arctic white z28 wih black leather and t-tops of course! it only has 32000 miles on it and is bone stock. dont really know where to start with it, but i wll post some pics tommorro and maybe you guys can give me some ideas on where to start. the car is immacalute. some shoot me some ideas on where to get started. thanks guys.

Awesome ride, do you mind telling how much you paid? A lid and a catback are good places to start. Check the stickies up top, they'll answer a lot of your early questions. Congrats!

Congrats! Don't even think about doing any mods until you read and understand the sticky's. Also check out installuniversity.com for step by step instructions on some of the easier, cheaper mods. Then use the search and if you cannot find your answer ask your questions here in the right section.
Some newb's to this site start off on the wrong foot by jumping right in with the questions that have been answered 10000000000 times or are answered in the sticky's. That can make you look lazy and turn folks off. Search and sticky's are your friends here. Good luck to ya!

yeah i have been on here quite a while, but just never really posted. there is sooooo much good info on this sight and the stickys are very helpful. i ended up getting the car for 16k, which is a little high but it has low milage {30k}and is a 2002, fully loaded with leather, t-tops and all the goodys and it is mint, i mean mint condition. i am trying to get pics up but i have to resize them first.

As you know already this site is a great resource for LS1 information. Almost anything you could ever want to know can be found here. 99% of the people are really cool too. Not as childish and ugly as a lot of other forums.

Agreed. People on here are great. Don't be afraid to ask questions. You will avoid many newbie mistakes if you don't...

Price is high, but I dont know your area. However, this IS THE BEST site on the 'net for an LS! owner and it has a LOT! of intelligent people to help you (and sadly a few that are not, but they get banned pretty fast good mods here!)
