New Owner of 99' WS6
Hey everyone I just picked up a 1999 Black WS6 last week and thought I would share a few pics. All the pics in the album are what the previous owner took, but seein as how the car is mine I figured I could use them.

She's got 37,xxx on the clock and in excelent condition. The driver window motor is getting pretty noisy and the seat belt loop on the driver seat broke off. This is my first LS1 and my first T/A. All I have to say is I love the car!!! That motor is so strong! It came with the tint and the silver decals. The Pontiac letters on the rear actually look painted. Its all stock for now anyways not sure what all will be done.
Here are a few things I had in mind:
Catback - Corsa or GMMG
Intake Lid - not sure which one. Are there any differences between them? I know power out put is the same.
Re-do the tail filler decal they dont cover the red completely
Would like to have silver accents with red accent lighting, such as glowing RA and side vents or some under dash lighing.
Probably get a strut tower brace.
Anything you guys recomend or anything I should know?

I love those Black TA's! By the way, this is the BEST intake kit made for your car

I own the GMMG exhaust but I feel the SLP loudmouth is lighter and a better buy. You also have different tone options (mufflers) avaliable. Click on link

This is the BEST looking and fitting strut tower brace

SLP parts simply look better and fit best.

I don't like the SLP STB as much as the BMR unit. They are very similar, but the subtle differences are what make the BMR unit better IMO.
Also I don't care for the SLP lid. The finish is too dull looking, and the fit is no better or worse than the other popular lids.
SLP does make some killer SFCs though.

i would strongly recommend an SLP lid to you. they are only like $92 from ls1speed.com. they are extremely tough, thick and have lots of flex (they don't crack like the whisper lid). they also are probably the best fitting lid AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT PUT A SMOOTH BELLOWS ON. if you put on a smooth bellows the lid will not fit right and rub the hood. you will also see wasted money and zero horsepower gain. as long as you stick with the stock bellows, the SLP lid is probably the best lid out there. that's why GM went with it as stock on their performance package. it's the best fitting lid.

I've installed countless lids for people. The regular SLP aftermarket lid doesn't fit any better than the Whisper lids I've installed.
Can't really debate on appearance though, that's subjective.
