Default what am i hearing?

right before i came home i heard this crazy sound that kept happening when i was in low rpms. this happends in every gear, always right at 1500+ rpms and only when im accelerating, never when the rpms are dropping below 1500. its almost like a buzzing sound...sounds crazy but it kinda reminds me of a croaking sound like a frog except like a high pitch buzzing sound. it sounds like its coming from behind the drivers area, so possibly its coming the rear? duno just a guess?? it only happends if im going past 1500 rpms. and it only lasts for like .5 seconds. if i hear it tommorow im going to take it to a mechanic.. thanks for the help.

I'm thinking heat shield/exhaust also - does it do the same thing in neutral @ 1500?

Good look with that, but with 700 posts you would think to know which section to post in lol.
