Default LS1 mileage vs reliability

I posted in the other forum a poll on what type of f-body LS1 I should buy which i will probably settle for a T/A ws6 or not can always buy a ram air hood. 1 question i have tho is what type of reliability do ls1 have. I really dont want to go over 55k and would like around 20-30k if cost allows. how many people are running LS1s over 60k and what problems have you faced if any.

Mine has 150k, and it has had almost no problems... just basic maintenance.

85k. Had a vacuum leak, but that was because the previous owner f'ed with it and the dealer never told us until we brought it up to him. Other than that, is it running great.

I went up to 194K+ before I threw a rod. Before that happened the worst that had gone wrong were the rotors, window, headlight and antenna motors.

102k, some of that with cam and upgraded valvetrain, never replaced anything under the hood except for regular maintenance stuff.

If it's the AC idler bearings, might want to check this out:

138k on my old motor. (The block itself was pouros and was leaking oil so it had to be replaced, no mechanical damage though, ran well too)

thanks for the link. Initially, i thought it was the idler pulley so i ended up getting one from the dealer. went away for a day, and then the same thing next day. I checked it again and its coming from the a/c compressor itself. but thanks again.
