hey everyone.. im a new LS1 owner... i had jus bought an 01 ws6 A4. im looking to get into the mid 11's on all motor with stock heads. i need to know where to put my money and what brands i should go with... so far i bought an SLP lid, airbox and smooth bellow.. heres what i plan on doing this winter

QTP long tube headers
QTP off road y pipe w/ dual QTEC cutouts
SLP loud mouth II catback
Yank 3400 Nitrious converter
Spohn Adj. LCA'S w/ sepherical rodends
Spohn Full length adj. torque arm
Richmond 3.73 gear

im not sure on what kind of cam i should go with.. i have not one clue on what to do with cams.. atleast i no mine only uses one right!! but yeah i want one that will give power but one that isnt that noticable.. thanks

Welcome! Sounds like you have a good list there but instead of the LM II catback I say get a set of tsp true duals, that will net you more HP. In refernce to cams any cam that is going to get you into mid 11's with stock heads is going to have to be noticable. I say go with an MS3, its a large cam but with proper tuning it idles great and makes tons of power. As for the coverter id wait till you choose the cam you want (even if your not ready to buy it) because if you go with a big cam your going to need a 4000 stall.

Also id throw some good tires on too. With boltons/good tires/big stall you can hit mid to low 12's, throw in a good sized cam and your easy into the 11's.

for suspension go with some weld in subframes, LCA's, and an adjustable panhard rod. Im sure the TQ arm will help too but thats basically what will help you the most.

Im not sure as I dont have an auto. I believe it depends if you have the converter locked or not, but im not positive that would be a question for the tranny section of the board.
