I think that was a name they used during development.

You got that right

They are sick cars with just a pulley, exhaust and chip from what I hear. But in the end there is one thing that keeps us F-body guys going. At the end of all the terminator movies you see the terminator get terminated

Ok, thanks for the replies just was'nt for sure on the whole terminoligy thing. Yeah with a pulley those cars are pretty quick from a roll, not so much off the line though. I raced several with my other car, never got beat but their mid-range pull was pretty impressive.

They are pretty quick with the pully/chip/exhaust, and most put somethinglike 450 to the tires.

When my car was F14/LTs/Duals, stock 3.42 gears, and stock everything else, I'd pick those p/c/e cobras off fairly easily. 3-4 cars on a roll race from a 50 punch was no sweat.

And all with a measley 280 cubic inches!!! It those goddamn 4 valve heads + supercharger. I would love to see some 4 vale heads with a eaton on a 346 LS1. I wonder what that would put out? And what would they name that engine? My friend has one and with only $500 in mods he spins so bad his 60' is 2.1 and runs a 12.30 and traps at 118.9 on street tires. It pulls VERY hard on the big end once he gets traction.
