Default Buying a 98 T/A m6

What problems should I look for when buying a 98 are there any porblems they some 98s have had that could be devestating. Mileage about 70K

rear main seal leaking, rear end leaks. knocks bangs, interior wear. rattles and squeaks are fairly common if its comming from inside. humm fuel pumps, window motors. I think waterpumps are still notorious for the LS1's?

He pretty much hit it on the head. I also recommend driving around for about 15 minutes to get the tranny fluid warm FIRST, then do some WOT runs to make sure your blocker rings and syncros are in check (no grinding). Try to take it on the highway and put it in 6th and punch it, that will let you know if the clutch is slipping at all.
