Default Should my AIR pump have coolant in it?

My AIR pump threw codes P0410, P0412, P0418, and P1416 so I tracked the problem down to the pump itself and whenever I took it off coolant drained out of one of the hoses attached. Should this pump have coolant in it?

I cant think of any reason why coolant should be in the pump, i know when i removed the AIR on my old LT1 i had, there was definitely no coolant in it. I'm trying to think of how the hell coolant could have gotten in there. I guess if you had a head gasket leak it could leak into your exhaust and then get into the AIR system, but that is unlikely.

In a word.....No. There is no good reason why this pump should ever have coolant in it. Something is wrong if it does. Honestly I've never heard of that happening before so I can't even offer a likely suggestion.

Something must be leaking coolant into that pump. Check for signs of coolant elsewhere around the area where the pump mounts.

That was what I was initially thinking as well. There were no signs of coolant elsewhere. My engine seems to be running in excellent condition. I'm getting around 23-24 mpg, I have no hesitation or stuttering... engine runs really smooth. I've taken good care of it and at my last oil change there wasn't any water in it, so I pretty well ruled out a head gasket problem. I can't think of any reason why coolant should be there but I'm pretty sure that's why I have a problem with my AIR pump.

Let me pose this question. Could this just be rain water that got sucked into the pump and just discolored to look exactly like my coolant since the pump is right there behind my fog lamp?

You should be able to tell if it's coolant or not by the smell. Dexcool has a very distinctive odor (kinda like a sweet & sour smell), smells nothing at all like dirty water. Just pop the radiator cap and compare the smell of the fluid in the pump to the smell of the coolant in your radiator.
