Default ~Help Me Build~

I want to build a car that is VERY streetable that will take out most cars on the road, around here there are TONS of 03-04 Terminators and new z06's, constantly talking trash and wanting to race for real money ($1000+ per race) Now I have a decent amount of money saved buy not really wanting to dump it all into my car. What would be the easiest way to take these cars out? (SAFELY) and still maitain reliablility!

Build me something that can do this on an 01WS6 M6!

Turbo builds get expensive quick (like $10,000 expensive), but if you've got the money go for it.

N20 can be just as reliable and safe as any other FI settup, IF you make sure you have the proper settup and tune (i.e. window switch, fuel pressure saftey switch, bigger fuel system than you need, ect...).

As for the power it can make... how big do you want to go?

Turbo would be expensive ....but badass and alot more respectable than nitrous IMO. But, I'm not a fan of nitrous at all so that's a bias opinion.

I want to go as safely as I can and still remain safe and reliable. Like I said I want to be able to take out supercars...Z06's, GT500's, Terminator's, Etc Etc Etc. All street racing that is, I dont go to the track that often. Like I was saying these guys come out Sat nights and want to throw down some big bucks. I want to take their $$$ Teach me how to LOL

Alright, then I would do all the bolt-ons, then get a nice H/C settup, that should get you into the 450+rwhp range and take out just about any stock car on the street.

Then invest in a nice N20 settup, with all the saftey features, run a 100 shot and you'll have yourself a nice low 11, high 10 second car for less than $10k.

Right, if you want to destroy cars for cheap just do gears (4.10's at least) some really sticky tires, and rip everything out of your car that you can to save weight.

Bolt-on, hmmm... (seeing as how its 6:30am and I havent slept yet I may miss some) but...

Airbox lid
MAF
Throttle body
Intake manifold
Underdrive pulleys
Headers
Exhaust system
Short throw shifter

Like I said, I may have missed some, but as soon as everyone else wakes up I'm sure they'll chime in with everything I missed

i dont think just a cam would take out a terminator or new z06. i would go with an ATI procharger. with the before mentioned boltons, and the right tune, you should be at 500 rwhp if not more depending on how much boost you run. if your car is in good running order, than maybe a small head cam/ low CR build will let you run more hp with less chances of detination. chech out the forced induction section. everyone will tell you, its all in the tune, that saves your motor, so your going to need a dyno tune. and have some money ready for new tires, cause your going to need them.

yeah... umm if i were you i would take it slow.. im guessing since these guys are racing for a 1000$ plus they have some money into their cars. take your time and research. ive been looking into my set up for a few months and driven many cars with similiar set ups. dont think your going to build this super fast car and take everyones money. take your time and look into things. when you build "fast" cars, things tend to break and this hobby isnt anything cheap. like i said do your research first.

no actually most of them are stock car minus some of the Terminators that have pulleys and exhaust, but for the most part all there cars are stock.
