Default Gas mileage

Curious what all you guys out there are running for mileage? I just calculated my mileage and I was getting 12 in the city! Thats horrid. I haven't been on it that much. I get about 27 on the highway.

What could I attribute this bad mileage to other than replacing the right foot I'm guessing new fuel filter, maybe o2's?

Search.

I get 11 mpg around town but I have a bigger cam and a 4,000 stall speed converter.

Has it been properly tuned in as is condition?

Are you A4 or M6?? If you have an automatic, especially one with a stall, that would explain your poor city fuel economy.

No I have a manual. I think I'm going to do O2's and fuel filter and see how that works.

It had a dyno tune 8k miles ago...

I'm supposed to get 17 city and 21 highway. But, I've been getting about 14 average. 16 if I'm lucky. The sad thing is that I drive mostly highway...

I'm thinking its a combination of the cam (all that intake charge being sucked straight into exhaust) and in need of a fuel filter/o2s...just wanted to wait on the o2s since they're so expensive

but 12 is rediculous...most of the time I dont even rap it to above 3k

Clean your air filter, replace fuel filter, check spark plugs and wires and replace if bad, replaces the O2s, about $60 a piece at advanceautoparts.com(bosch), put some synthetic oil if you don't already, you said you had a dyno tune but what about a part throttle/ drivability tune this could help if you haven't done this. You should be at about 15-16mpg with the mods you have. Good luck!
