Default how to inspect a used truck?

alright what do i need to look for in a 94 4by4 silverado with a 6 in lift 35s and 144,000 miles thanks guys oh he only wants 5600 what a deal.

look at the hubs, check the diffs, if you cant drop the pan throw a magnetic plug in a drive around for a bit, look in the tranny pan to.....hmm 144k on a 12 year old truck id want more around 4500 bucks....check the blue book....remember its a 4x4 its a big toy thats probably been played with hard

You probably already know this but the pre 96 trucks were quite gutless. I would look under the truck for fluid leaks, make sure that you test the 4 wheel drive, and look under the truck to see how bad the truck was beat up off road (usually the skid plates etc. will tell if the truck has been abused).
