Default What is gc 0w30?/Where can I find this?

what is this popular thing called gc 0w30 that you all speak of? what is GC? where may I purchase this you speak of? I have an a4 98 trans am would you recommend this oil? I asked for gc 0w30 at advanced auto and the genleman looked me hysterically and said "what's GC?" and continued to giggle more and said "0w30 on a 98 Trans Am??!" "Oh no you don't wanna use 0w30" he continued to say. why did he say that? Anyways Thanks you all for all the continued help and advice making it easier to break into my car!! I love you. That's not too fast is it?

Advanced doenst carry it around here either, try AutoZone thats who mainly carries it around here. "GC" is German Castrol Syntec synthetic oil 0w-30, dont listen to that guy he dont know what he's talkin about, I use it and love it.

nice! thanks for the link bro that was really informative! one question though. they say its good for the cold weather, but what bout high temperatures like out here in souhern california where it reaches 100 degrees? would it still do the job? do u recommend gc 0w-30 for extreme heat conditions?
