Cool Confirmation beep on key fob !

Is there anyway I can mod my key fob to give me a confirmation beep when I lock the car ? Like on the newer GM vehicles .

It's in the manual on how to change modes, if you don't have a manual, then if I still remember this post in the morning, I'll see what I can dig up from mine.

1) Put your key in the ignition
2) Turn the ignition to RUN to disarm the Vehicle and Content Theft-Deterrent System.
4) Remove the RADIO fue. This fuse is in the main fuse block, the one located on the left side of youor instrument panel.
5) Turn the ignition to ACC.
-You should hear a chime to verify that the system is in the programming mode.
6) Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter.
7) Count the number of chimes you hear. The number of chimes tells you which mode your vehicle is set.
8) Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter until you hear the number of chimes that corresponds to the mode selection you want.
Mode 1: All off
Mode 2: Horn and lamps/lamps (Horn and lamps when you press LOCK, only lamps when you press UNLOCK)
Mode 3: Horn and lamps ( Horn and lamps everytime you press LOCK/ UNLOCK
Mode 4: Lamps ( lamps only for when you press LOCK/ UNLOCK)
Mode 5: Lamps/horn and lamps/lamps (This is the factory setting. Lamps will flash upon FIRST press of LOCK, lamps will flash and horn will sound upon SECOND press of LOCK. Lamps will flash upon any press of UNLOCK.

Once the desired mode is set and programming is done, turn the ignition to OFF and replace the RADIO fuse. I hope you don't have/ can't find your manual so I didn't type that for nothing .

Anytime . Do have you owner's manual? If you do, you can program tons of other stuff such as Interior Illumination Delay, the sensitivity of the alarm itself, etc. and you can do that while programming the confirmation beep.
