Default Whats difference from 98 to 02?

Trying find out whats the difference from SS 6-speed 98-02

what did they change each year?
not cosmetic. Gears, HP, ect?

write this down...:intake manifold,injectors, different TB flange, (98)pissy computer, 01-02 NA on certain emissions....other things are dependant on the type of car....

I think the main points are that the 99+ had different injectors, the 01+ cars had LS6 block, intake, and a different cam stock...

The later cars will have a little more hp because they used the LS6 intake. All the mechanical changes were minor, and a 1998 is basically the same as a 2002. Buy the car based on miles and condition, not the year.

Check JRP's FAQ, he has all the answers you need. No, you can't switch out the 98 PCM with any 99+ PCM.

damn guys, anyone else want to post that link? its no ******* wonder the mods get so torqued at newbies. im starting to get that way myself. if people would take 5 minutes and look around, there wouldnt be 20 threads on this subject...........
